Symptoms
Common symptoms following a lingual nerve injury include the following:
- Numbness in the tongue;
- Loss of ability to taste;
- Tingling sensation in the tongue;
- Pain, Burning, or electric shock sensations in the tongue;
- Speech impairment;
- Drooling.
